Paper Weaving

I wanted to share this technique with all of you.  Many of you may remember this from your elementary school days, but now you can take paper weaving to the next level.  Northridge Publishing held a contest for paper weaved cards and they came out great:

Lots of great ideas for all of you!

Cupcake Wrappers

Cupcake wrappers are the trend right now and they are so easy to make!  Scrapbook paper makes a perfect cupcake wrapper and you can add a scallop to the top or use a punch to add a special design.

Follow this link for a free template!

This is a wonderful touch to any wedding or party!  It certainly takes those yummy cupcakes to a whole new level!

Canvas, Mod Podge, and Scrapbook Paper!

Today I saw an inspiration in a magazine that I wanted to re-create.  This adorable bird in a nest on a branch.  I created mine a little differently... I used paper to create the branch (they used marker) and I added a banner!  The one I saw was just white above the bird.  (Glimmer mist would also look nice I think)

The greatest part is that everything is handcut so no need for anything special.

Supplies I used:
For the Record Paper
Bazzill Black Cardstock
My Minds Eye Hip Hooray
Canvas Corp Canvas and mini clothespins
Mod Podge
Twine
